UK foundation and specialty training is organised into deaneries (also called training regions or local education and training boards). Select yours to compare the trusts and hospitals where you could be placed.

What is a deanery?

A deanery (now often called a Local Education and Training Board or LETB) is the organisation responsible for postgraduate medical education in a geographic area. During foundation and specialty training allocation, you rank deaneries by preference — then rank individual trust programmes within your allocated deanery. Knowing which trusts fall under each deanery helps you make an informed preference list.
